Muslims in Healthcare Interest Group serves the healthcare needs of the local Muslim community through community service projects, advancing awareness of the Muslim patient experience through cultural sensitivity projects, and supporting social health needs of at-risk Muslim populations through collaboration with existing local organizations that emphasize this vision. In addition, we aim to promote a safe and inclusive space for Muslim students to practice their faith together and help foster professional networking between Muslim students.
