Research Interests
Research at Wertheim Medicine covers a range of fields, including translational medicine, basic science and clinical research. Students are encouraged to connect with faculty about their interests.
Annual Research Symposium
The Medical and Graduate Students and Residents Research Symposium is an annual event showcasing poster and oral presentations by Herbert Medicine students, FIU students, affiliated program participants, residents and alumni.
Summer Research Fellowship Program
This Summer Research Fellowship offers year one and two medical students, as well as pre-matriculants, the chance to gain research experience across basic, educational, population outcomes, translational and clinical research projects.
