FIU HWCOM’s Medical Students for Choice, along with a network of over 10,000 medical students and residents, is dedicated to ensuring that women receive the full range of reproductive healthcare choices. We connect students with clinics in the community and give voice to the politics surrounding abortion, both in Florida and nationally. We are dedicated to ensuring that women receive the full range of reproductive healthcare choices. Today one of the greatest obstacles to safe and legal abortion around the world is the absence of trained providers. As medical students, we work to make reproductive health care, including abortion, a part of standard medical education.
