FIU HWCOM LMSA's mission is to provide unity amongst Latino medical students as well as incorporate non-Latino medical students into our efforts in providing education on the issues facing the Latino community. LMSA wishes to highlight the cultural background of our Latino medical students to increase awareness of our diverse student population. Concurrently, LMSA would like to promote the efforts of outreach programs for the local and national Latino community, a community that suffers from cultural disparities in healthcare and access to care.
