Medical Students Working to Improve Society & Health

MedSWISH (Medical Students Working to Improve Society & Health) is a student-run community service organization at FIU HWCOM that provides health screenings and education to members of the local community. We are dedicated to improving access to primary care in the local community. We work with a variety of resources such as the Mobile Health Center to deliver care to underserved populations in South Florida while also enhancing medical student education at FIU. We are committed to providing numerous opportunities for HWCOM students to give back to the community and obtain experience providing clinical care to a diverse patient population.
