Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Interest Group (OSSM)

The Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Interest Group is an organization recognized by the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and FIU Council of Student Organizations. The mission of the group is primarily educational through workshops, presentations, and mentoring opportunities. This group is multidisciplinary and the meetings hosted by the organization will range from discussion panels on an Internal Medicine approach to Sports Medicine to educational activities related to the specialty of Orthopedic Surgery. The Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Interest Group is open to all FIU students. A member must attend at least two club events each semester to be considered active and maintain membership.
