Navigating the many programs and services offered by HWCOM and FIU can be daunting. To help guide medical students to obtain the support they need, the Office of Student Affairs, Student Support Services provides a central point of contact for information, consultation, and guidance. The student support services team is available to all medical students, regardless of academic standing. Their goal is to promote student academic and personal success in an individualized, sensitive, and respectful manner.
Asking for help does not mean that we are weak or incompetent. It usually indicates an advanced level of honesty and intelligence.Anne Wilson Schaef, author
