Benjamin León, Jr. Family Center for Geriatric Research and Education

The Benjamin León, Jr. Family Center for Geriatric Research and Education focuses on translational epidemiology research and geriatrics and gerontology education to advance and promote active aging, frailty prevention, and health care delivery to older adults.

Housed in the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, the center was established thanks to a generous gift from the Benjamin León, Jr. Family and Leon Medical Centers.
