Established in 2015, the Florida Medical Student Research Journal (FMSRJ) is a student-run, peer-reviewed journal showcasing scholarly works and talent related to medicine and healthcare authored by medical students, graduate students, and professionals.
Facilitating academic discourse and teamwork, this journal allows medical editor students the unique opportunity to prepare for a future in academic medicine through the peer review process. Membership on the editorial staff is limited to distinguished medical students who have demonstrated excellence in research and academics. Students on the editorial staff will work closely with the Faculty Advisors throughout the editing process to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality of manuscripts prior to publication.
- To publish original academic or artistic works by students and professionals.
- To provide the opportunity for student editors to peer review original content and participate in the process of publishing.
The Florida Medical Student Research Journal accepts all healthcare related submissions by medical students, graduate students, and professionals.
All submissions must be original, unpublished works.
