Asian American Medical Student Group (AAMSG) is an organization for medical students of Asian ethnic background and students interested in learning about the diverse cultural perspectives in the Asian community. The group aims to set a platform to promote not only a congregation of students of Asian origin but also a collaboration with other cultural groups in an effort to share our perspectives and approach to medical issues affecting our society. Students will discuss issues affecting various Asian communities, and, through cultural events, promote awareness of different Asian heritage and traditions. AAMSG will also provide students with opportunities to engage in community service or connect with physician mentors in the Asian community.
