Clinical Services
The department works closely with clinical partners, including Mount Sinai Medical Center, to integrate pathology into patient care. These collaborations provide students with exposure to real-world diagnostic practices, bridging the gap between medical education and clinical application.
Education & Training
Pathology education spans all four years of the medical curriculum. The Pathology and Infectious Disease Course anchors the first year, followed by integration into every science course in Academic Year 2. Students can explore advanced learning through electives and selectives in academic years 3 and 4.

Research
Research is central to medical education and training in pathology. Students are encouraged to participate early, particularly in clinically oriented projects that can lead to poster presentations, abstracts and peer-reviewed publications. Basic science collaborations with other departments strengthen opportunities for discovery and innovation.
Faculty & Staff
Our faculty and staff consist of educators, researchers and clinicians who bring their expertise to the classroom and laboratory. Through mentorship and collaboration, they guide students in developing a strong foundation in pathology and inspire them to pursue excellence in medicine, research and lifelong learning.
