Complete the Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences and get into the MPAS program at the College of Medicine.
Students in the current MPAS (Master in Physician Assistant Studies) program admissions cycle will be guaranteed an interview provided they meet defined academic and professional metrics.
We encourage all GCP MPAS applicants to apply early in the application cycle. MPAS uses a "rolling admission" process, which means applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis until the cohort is full. Applying later in the MPAS application cycle may result in an interview opportunity in a future cycle or for a subsequent cohort rather than for the current cycle.
Requirements for a Guaranteed Interview
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA through the end of the Fall semester
- "B" or above in each course
- Demonstrate professional performance according to the graduate certificate program handbook
- Submit all MPAS application materials
- Letter of recommendation from the graduate certificate program
Students who meet the criteria but have not applied for the current cycle will be guaranteed an interview for a subsequent admissions cycle.
