Madepalli Lakshmana, Ph.D. is an expert in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) with more than twenty years of experience in the field of neurodegeneration research. Lakshmana acquired basic concepts and advanced knowledge on the brain and nervous system through mandatory course work during MS, M.Phil, and Ph.D. training programs.

Lakshmana’s strengths lie in the strong conceptual and technical expertise in both neurophysiology (M.Phil and Ph.D. training) and molecular biology/mouse genetics (through international training opportunities such as ICGEB fellowship, Italy, and STA fellowship, Japan). His postdoctoral training also included in the University of California, San Diego.
