Tracey Anne Weiler, Ph.D.

Tracey Weiler is the lead in genetics education across the medical student curriculum. She also serves as the academic director of the Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences and is course director for the Medical Genetics course within the program.

Weiler’s current research focuses on medical education, genetics education, medical genetics, direct-to-consumer genetic testing, hereditary cancer screening, and gender equity in academic medicine. She co-chairs the Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing Project Group of the NHGRI Intersociety Coordinating Committee for Practitioner Education in Genomics. She is also the founding president and current past president of the Association of STEMM Pathway and Bridge Programs, reflecting her passion for education and mentorship
