Ricardo Cury, M.D.

Dr. Ricardo Cury is the chair and professor of the Department of Radiology at the College of Medicine. He leads academic and clinical efforts to advance radiologic education, research, and innovation in cardiovascular imaging.

Cury brings extensive expertise in cardiac CT and MRI. He previously served as director of Cardiac Imaging at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute and director of Cardiac MRI at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a former assistant professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School and a past president of the Society of Cardiovascular CT.

A nationally recognized expert in cardiovascular imaging, Cury is a Master of the Society of Cardiovascular CT and a fellow of the American College of Radiology, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association. His academic contributions include more than 250 original scientific publications and over 500 abstracts, book chapters, or invited presentations. He has delivered invited lectures on cardiac CT and MRI across the U.S. and internationally.
