Lizeth Miralda Guerra

Lizeth Miralda-Guerra joined the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) at Florida International University as the Grant Administrator II in 2017. As the (Pre-Award) Grant Administrator, Miralda-Guerra’s main areas of specialty include identifying grant opportunities, researching the application process, coordinating deadlines, and compiling the application data to ensure timely submission. Prior to joining FIU, she devoted over 15 years working with underserved communities in procuring and maintaining specialty grants at the local, state, and private funding levels. Miralda-Guerra has a B.S. degree in Psychology, with a minor in Cross-Cultural Studies.
