Dr. Juan A. De Llano teaches physician assistant students and serves as their Capstone Project administrator. He is the course director for physiology and pathophysiology and leads the nephrology unit of Clinical Medicine, ensuring students gain a solid foundation in these critical areas.
Before joining FIU, Dr. De Llano spent nine years as an associate professor in the PA program at Miami Dade College. He brings over 24 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, nutrition, and occupational health.
