Lizzeth Alarcon, joined the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in 2022 and currently serves as course director for the Community Engaged Physician course series.
Before joining Florida International University, she worked as an academic hospitalist and primary care physician in Boston and was involved in graduate medical education as an assistant professor of family medicine. Dr. Alarcon sees patients and supervises residents in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Borinquen Medical Centers, a federally qualified health center.
