Dr. Amalia Landa-Galindez oversees the Department of Internal Medicine, supervising faculty recruitment, internal medicine clerkship sites, student educational activities, and curriculum development. She also serves as faculty advisor for students pursuing a residency in internal medicine and contributes to developing our graduate internal medicine residency programs.
Dr. Landa-Galindez teaches in the second-year Musculoskeletal Systems Course and the fourth-year Medical History Through Art Elective. She also provides primary care services at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice on FIU’s main campus.
