The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine is dedicated to excellence in research, service and education. Our efforts focus on understanding the causes of human diseases and developing innovative treatments to improve health outcomes.
We foster a collaborative environment that encourages interdisciplinary research with other FIU colleges and our clinical partners at Baptist Health South Florida. Additionally, we provide mentorship and training opportunities for pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, and junior faculty, supporting the next generation of researchers and educators.
