Elizabeth A. Ouellette, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Ouellette is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty board certification in surgery of the hand. As program director, she oversees the FIU/Baptist Health Orthopaedic Hand Surgery Fellowship Program.

Ouellette is chief of hand surgery at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, where she specializes in treating wrist fracture, ligament tear, nerve injury, joint instability and small joint replacement.

  • Microsurgical reconstruction and peripheral nerve surgery
  • Wrist arthroscopy and minimally invasive hand surgery
  • Management of arthritis of the hand, wrist, and thumb (joint preservation and replacement)
  • Carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, and peripheral nerve decompression procedures
  • Congenital and developmental hand disorders
  • Soft tissue coverage and flap reconstruction for upper extremity trauma
  • Dupuytren’s contracture management (surgical and minimally invasive techniques)
  • Replantation and salvage procedures for amputations
