RISE: Recognizing Inspirational Superior Effort

The HWCOM Administrative and Staff Employee Recognition Program, R.I.S.E., has been designed to recognize, motivate, and reward the outstanding performance of full-time, part-time, and temporary administrative and staff employees of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

"This program is designed not just to recognize, but to motivate, and reward outstanding performance," said Dr. John A. Rock,Founding Dean and Senior Vice President for Health Affairs.

The idea for R.I.S.E. was established by one of the initiatives of the HWCOM 2015-2020 Strategic Plan which sets forth Faculty and Staff Success as one of five key strategic goals that will impact the achievement of HWCOM’s vision.

Employees are recognized in three categories. Teamwork, Service Excellence, and Extra Mile. All HWCOM employees or students can submit nominations.
