RISE: Recognizing Inspirational Superior Effort

The HWCOM Administrative and Staff Employee Recognition Program, RISE, has been designed to recognize, motivate, and reward the outstanding performance of full-time and part-time administrative and staff employees of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Employees are recognized in three categories. Teamwork, Service Excellence, and Extra Mile. All HWCOM employees or students can submit nominations.

2023 RISE Award Recipients

Sixty-seven employees were nominated for the 2023 R.I.S.E. Awards and twenty-three (23 rose to the occasion and were announced at the HWCOM Holiday Event on December 11, 2023.

Teamwork (2 teams)

This category was designed to recognize teams that build collaborative relationships across different departments; successfully complete impactful projects; and show respect for others. Each winner received a $500 Recognition Award, R.I.S.E. merchandise and an HWCOM embroidered shirt.
