Sailaja Tumrukota oversees the Collection Development and Acquisitions department at the FIU Medical Library, managing collection development, acquisition of library materials both print and eResources, resource budgets and oversees the library's cataloging process.
She has extensive experience and expertise in both academic research and specialized libraries. Before joining the Medical Library in 2021, Salia worked at the FIU Law library for 20 years, and at the University of Miami main and law libraries, and the St. Thomas University Law Library.
