Biography
Dr. Gagani Athauda has been involved in the pharmacology education of medical students at HWCOM since 2011, earning multiple teaching awards including the prestigious "HWCOM Mentor of the Year Student Choice Award" for her exceptional mentoring excellence. Her outstanding contributions to medical education led to her induction into the Florida Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society honoring gifted teaching.
Dr. Athauda is a Fellow of the ASPET Academy of Pharmacology Educators (FAAPE), recognizing her exemplary contributions to pharmacology education in student-teacher interaction, innovative contributions, scholarly endeavors, and professional development and service. This fellowship honors her meritorious contributions to pharmacology education and reflects her distinguished commitment to advancing the field and mentoring future medical professionals.
