Our clinical services are provided at Baptist Health Diagnostic Imaging. Our specialties include neuroradiology, ultrasound, emergency radiology, molecular imaging, interventional radiology and breast imaging.

Clinical Services
Our clinical services are provided at Baptist Health Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology. Our nationally and internationally recognized team delivers advanced imaging expertise across a full spectrum of modalities, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective, minimally invasive treatments for patients.
Education & Training
We give undergraduate medical students a firm basis in the use of imaging procedures for the demonstration of normal anatomy and evaluation of disease. We achieve this by providing high-quality instruction, tailored to the period of students' education:
- Academic Year 1 & 2: Lectures covering various aspects of medical imaging. These lectures are essential for educating healthcare professionals about the latest techniques, technologies, and interpretations in the field.
- Academic Year 3: A formal and mandatory radiology clerkship that takes place eight times a year, accommodating 15 medical students per session.
- Academic Year 4: Electives that focus on diagnostic radiology and various subspecialties.
Diagnostic Radiology Residency
We train the next generation of skilled radiologists to meet the needs of patients in our community and beyond.
Research
We have an active voluntary faculty, and research is currently being conducted in several areas, including:
- Use of radioactive microspheres in treatment of hepatic malignancy
- Cardiac CT
- Minimally invasive imaging and treatment
- Augmented reality ultrasound
- Accuracy and speed of radiology scan reading
