Signature Programs

The three Panther Communities (PCs) signature programs offer medical students meaningful opportunities to apply newly acquired skills through a range of activities beyond the classroom. These experiences reinforce curricular learning, promote interprofessional collaboration, foster leadership development, and create avenues to serve underserved communities in Miami-Dade—often in partnership with the NeighborhoodHELP© program.

MedLEAD

The MedLEAD program equips medical students with the skills and experiences needed to lead effectively, inspire a shared vision, and drive meaningful change in a rapidly evolving health care system. From day one, students benefit from peer-to-peer mentoring, fostering supportive connections with upperclassmen who offer guidance and insight.
