About the Lab

The Chand lab is currently pursuing several high-priority research endeavors that collectively address pressing questions in chronic diseases:

  • Trained Immunity – Molecular Mechanisms
  • Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Aging-associated Diseases
  • Programmed Cell Death Mechanisms
  • Inhalational Toxicology and Respiratory Diseases

Additionally, the lab has an electronic cigarette/vaping exposure machine, pulmonary function test equipment for rodents, and a Keyence All-in-One microscopy system for fixed and live cell multicolor imaging.
