About the Lab
The Chand Lab is currently pursuing several high-priority research endeavors that collectively address pressing questions in chronic diseases:
- Trained Immunity – Molecular Mechanisms
- Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Aging-associated Diseases
- Programmed Cell Death Mechanisms
- Inhalational Toxicology and Respiratory Diseases
Additionally, the lab has an electronic cigarette/vaping exposure machine, pulmonary function test equipment for rodents, and a Keyence All-in-One microscopy system for fixed and live cell multicolor imaging.
