 Congratulations to our Ph.D. in Biomedical Science students honored for their outstanding achievements.

Nine doctoral students earned the Dean’s Scholarship, recognizing students based on performance and potential to become leaders in biomedical research and translational medicine.

In addition to the Dean’s Scholarship, Akkaoui received the 2025 Fall Dissertation Fellowship from the FIU University Graduate School for her Alzheimer’s research. This fellowship supports highly qualified doctoral students in the final writing phase of their dissertations.
