Training the Urologists of Tomorrow

Based at Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Hospital, the Urology Residency program provides residents with a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and clinical skills in general urology and urological subspecialties. Residents gain extensive clinical experience, access top-tier educational resources and train in state-of-the-art facilities, including Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute.

The program’s supportive environment equips residents to care for a diverse patient population with a wide spectrum of conditions and surgical needs. Residents benefit from exposure to a variety of minimally invasive procedures, including robotic surgery, as well as major complex oncologic and reconstructive procedures. The training is further enhanced at Baptist Health Education Center, a cutting-edge simulation center that offers valuable opportunities to develop surgical skills.
