Training the Thoracic Surgeons of Tomorrow
The FIU/Baptist Health Thoracic Surgery Fellowship provides fellows with a rigorous and engaging training experience. Through exposure to cases of all levels of complexity, the program prepares highly skilled clinicians for practice in both academic and community health care settings.
Fellows train alongside board-certified thoracic surgeons within Baptist Health’s multidisciplinary, patient- and family-centered care environment. They enjoy opportunities to learn in state-of-the-art facilities providing innovative care and developing expertise in fundamental techniques, robotic surgery, endoscopic interventions, as well as the most advanced technologies. Fellows graduate well prepared to deliver exceptional care locally and beyond.
