Developing the Sports Medicine Doctors of Tomorrow

The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship provides fellows with a comprehensive and exceptional education in team coverage and clinical care. Working directly with team physicians and athletic trainers helps fellows develop skills in caring for athletes, the physically active, and a wide range of medical and musculoskeletal problems in the community.

The program’s fellowship-trained faculty physicians, based at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute, provide fellows with the advanced knowledge, training and experience to handle the breadth of office-based and sideline sports medicine. The program offers unique year-round coverage opportunities for a wide variety of high school, collegiate and professional sports teams.
