Our residents receive hands-on experience managing a broad spectrum of complex cases within a clinical and academic setting. Program Application Requirements

Our program attracts, educates, and retains exceptional talent to serve the South Florida community.

Acceptance/admission to the program is contingent on the submission of all requested materials and meeting all eligibility requirements determined by the program.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.

Residency Prerequisites

  • For one-year training: A completed ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency with early specialization in interventional radiology.
  • For two-year training: A completed ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency without early specialization in interventional radiology.

Application Requirements

  • USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 or COMLEX Level 1 and 2
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation from physicians familiar with an applicant’s character and abilities
  • Letter from medical school dean or Medical Student Performance Evaluation
  • Medical school transcripts
  • International medical school graduates must have a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
