The annual FIU Outstanding Student Life Awards honor students who excel beyond the classroom. This year, several students from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (FIU Medicine) were recognized for their leadership, service and community impact.

For the second consecutive year, Florida International University Houseless Outreach for Medical Equity (FIU HOME), a student-led initiative, received the FIU Outstanding Service Award.
