Eighteen medical students and two faculty members from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine have been inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) for their commitment to compassionate care.
The Gold Foundation, established in 1988 by the late Dr. Arnold P. Gold and his wife, Sandra Gold, is dedicated to promoting humanism in health care. Through GHHS, the foundation honors medical students, residents, and physicians who show compassion, integrity, and a commitment to patient-centered care. With more than 45,000 members nationwide, the society plays a vital role in shaping the future of medical education and practice.
