Andy Arwari, M.D.

Dr. Andy Arwari facilitates end-of-life education for medical students. He is a board-certified hospice and palliative medicine physician and medical director at VITAS Healthcare in Miami-Dade County.

Arwari has held numerous executive and clinical leadership roles, including associate chief medical officer and president of medical staff at Carle Health System. With more than two decades of experience in hospital medicine and palliative care, his work focuses on improving the quality of life for patients with serious illness through compassionate, patient-centered care. He is actively involved in national hospice and palliative care initiatives and physician leadership development and is an author dedicated to advancing hospice awareness and interdisciplinary care models.
