Denise Ward provides administrative and technical support to all faculty within the Department of Medical Education including the coordination of logistical and administrative services for the annual FIU Medicine Research Symposium. She monitors student research initiatives, keeps track of projects, prepares scientific presentations, publications, course material, oversees payroll activities, and processes personnel transactions. Additionally, she serves as the liaison of the Office of International Affairs and FIU Medicine on processing students' login credentials.
Ward has over twenty years of experience in healthcare management including office management, medical center operations, data analysis, and insurance-related initiatives. She has a passion for patient and provider communication as well as ongoing patient education.
