Biography
Osmel “Ozzie” Delgado oversees FIU Health’s clinical operations, ensuring quality, risk, and regulatory standards compliance. He supports aligning the college’s clinical, educational, and research missions, leads the development of clinical service lines, and contributes to governance and strategic planning for the FIU-Health Care Network (FIU Health) Board.
Delgado brings more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Before joining FIU Medicine, he served as COO at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company. He oversaw clinical operations and support services in these roles, collaborating with executive leadership to drive strategic planning and improve operational efficiency.
Delgado also serves as an adjunct professor at FIU College of Business and FIU Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
