Dr. Maria Stevens is the director of Clinical Skills and teaches students at all levels of their training. In her role as assistant dean, she oversees several premedical pathway programs and community initiatives. Additionally, she provides health care to underserved communities at a free clinic in Miami-Dade and serves as faculty advisor for the Student National Medical Association.

Stevens joined Wertheim Medicine in 2017. Her interests include curriculum development, primary care, and healthcare disparities.
