Dr. Michael Carreras oversees the FIU/Baptist Health Anesthesiology Residency Program, providing leadership for resident education, program administration and continuous quality improvement. He ensures a high-quality, ACGME-accredited training environment that supports clinical excellence, scholarly activity and physician well-being.
He also oversees resident recruitment, evaluation and promotion, maintains accreditation compliance, and supports faculty and resident engagement in research, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
