Lina Augius, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Lina Augius is the director of psychiatry and behavioral health for our Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Health Education Learning Program, also known as NeighborhoodHELP. She also provides clinical psychiatric services to the general public at the FIU Health/Baptist Health Practice on FIU’s main campus.

Dr. Augius has nearly two decades of clinical experience in academic, public, and private settings. As a clinician, she combines her expertise in psychopharmacology with integrative health practices to optimize treatment outcomes. As a clinician-educator, she focuses on transitional age youth, higher education, and wellness in learning environments.

Before joining the College of Medicine, Dr. Augius served as the director of student psychiatric services at the University of Southern California and medical director of a multidisciplinary team that provided comprehensive outpatient insurance-based care to the student population.
