Dr. Jose Weisinger teaches in the renal unit of the Organ Systems II course.
He is an attending nephrologist at Baptist Health South Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College of Medicine and of the American Society of Nephrology. He has served as the president of both the Venezuelan Society of Nephrology and the Latin American Society of Nephrology and Hypertension.
Dr. Weisinger has authored approximately 100 publications, reviews, book chapters, and commentaries, primarily focusing on clinical nephrology, kidney stones, and bone and mineral metabolism.
