Dr. José Otero mentors Ph.D. students in biomedical sciences and serves as a medical student preceptor. He is a board-certified pathologist and physician-scientist with more than 20 years of experience in academic medicine.
Otero leads an active academic laboratory focused on translational neuropathology.
Research Interests
- Translational neuropathology with emphasis on reactive gliosis and neuroinflammation
