Dollie Green, M.D.

Dr. Dollie Green teaches medical students across all levels and participates in Green Family Foundation NeighborhoodHELP household visits. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams of medical, nursing, physician assistant, and social work students to address health needs in underserved communities. Her current focus is implementing a hypertension treatment program within NeighborhoodHELP to help patients better manage and control their blood pressure.

Before joining FIU, Green served as a clinical educator at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and was medical director at DaVita, a national provider of care for patients with kidney disease. Under the mentorship of Dr. Una Ryan, she developed an in vitro model of human glomerular endothelial cells to study the pathogenesis of HIV nephropathy and diabetic nephropathy.
