Dr. Diego Torres-Russotto teaches neurology across the medical school curriculum, including second-year courses, third-year clinical rotations, and fourth-year electives. He serves as director and faculty of the FIU/Baptist Health Neurology Residency Program. Torres-Russotto also mentors and conducts research with students at every level—from college through all four years of medical school.
Torres-Russotto is the chair of neurology and the Distinguished Endowed Chair in Neurology at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute.
He has published more than 120 scientific works and is a member of major research consortia including the Huntington Study Group, Parkinson Study Group and Tremor Research Group.
