Biography

Dr. Beatriz D’Onghia is the Psychiatry Clerkship director. She provides clinical psychiatric care at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice and treats children and adolescents through the Department of Health’s Behavioral Health Integration Program.

D’Onghia has nearly two decades of clinical experience and about six years in academic medicine. Before joining FIU, she primarily worked as a clinician at various community clinics in the Miami area. She also served as psychiatry core faculty and assistant program director for the Brodes Hartley Jr. Teaching Health Center at Community Health of South Florida.

D’Onghia is board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
