Dr. Alfredo Hernandez is a double board-certified gastroenterologist with over 17 years of experience in clinical practice and academic medicine. Hernandez heads the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, guiding strategic initiatives, fostering clinical excellence, and supporting faculty development to ensure the highest standards of care and innovation.
Hernandez has held leadership roles across multiple boards within Gastro Health and Baptist Health Endoscopy. He is the Chief of Medicine at HCA Mercy Hospital.
