FIU Medicine hosts Administrative and Staff Assemblies twice a year. These sessions provide a valuable chance to share key updates and foster open communication with our administrative and staff teams. They also create a forum for feedback and discussion on topics important to our administrative and staff community.

2026 IRS Contribution Limits | FIU 403(b) Voluntary Retirement Plan

Contribution limits for 2026

  • The elective deferral limit for 2026 is $24,500
  • Employees who turn age 50 or older during 2026 may contribute an additional $8,000 catch-up contribution, subject to plan rules
  • If your 2025 FIU FICA wages (Box 3 on your W-2) exceed $150,000, any catch-up contribution above $24,500 must be Roth (after-tax), as outlined in the Roth Catch-Up Requirement communication

• The final deadline for all PEP submissions is Monday, September 30.
