Training the Radiologists of Tomorrow

Based at Baptist Hospital of Miami, the Diagnostic Radiology Residency prepares the next generation of highly talented radiologists to serve the needs of patients within our diverse community and beyond while maintaining the highest level of excellence.

Our program emphasizes the importance of patient-and-family-centered care, cultural responsiveness, high-quality and high-value care, scholarly activity, lifelong learning and a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork.

Residents gain exposure to academic subspecialized radiology and community-based general radiology by rotating through the health care system’s various hospitals, outpatient imaging centers and institutes. With five residents per year, the program offers ample opportunity to experience and learn from diverse cases and provides significant hands-on experience in image-guided procedures.
